Managing Director

Nelius studied at Port Elizabeth Technicon From 1993-1995 and received his National Diploma in Building in 1996

After studying he joined JC JOUBERT BUILDING Contractor as a junior construction manager and in the 24th year of employment he was promoted to Construction/Projects manager.

Nelius registered the company name JCJ Construction (PTY) Ltd in December 2019 and started to trade under the name from 3rd February 2020.

25 Years of experience in the building industry.

Wayne Leanord Lidell

Senior Construction Manager

Wayne started his career as a foreman in the industry in 2003, due to his dedication, positive thinking and leadership skills he quickly worked up his way through the ranks and gained the position as Senior Construction Manager.

Wayne manages the daily activities on site from setting out right up to the final completion of the project.
Main duties:

  • Setting out
  • Managing all workforce on site including sub-contractors
  • Ordering material
  • Quality control on site
  • Health and safety

Wayne is a very pleasant person to work with and has the ability to communicate all persons involving the projects under his management.

Albertus Marinus Jan Brenkman

Contract manager

Bertus started his career as a foreman in the industry in 2006 where he gained experience over the years and worked himself up to the position as a Contracts manager.

Bertus manages the daily activities on site from setting out right up to the final completion of the project.

  • Managing all workforce on site including sub-contractors
  • Ordering material
  • Quality control on site
  • Health and safety

Health and safety

We as JCJ Construction know the importance concerning the wellbeing of our workforce as well as visitors on site. We take extra precaution to ensure that our sites are Health and safety compliant.

 

We have appointed a Health and safety manager who is responsible together with management of JCJ Construction to attend to the following in order to create a safe working environment:

Make sure our site complies with the clients Health and Safety Specifications by drawing up a site specific Health and Safety plan

Do daily inspections

Supply of PPE

Supply of necessary training

Keeping the site clean and tidy at a daily basis
